Access to the Ko Samui Island's beautiful tropical sights and activities culminate at the Ko Samui Airport (USM). It is a privately owned airport located at the Nathon province of the Ko Samui island. It is generally served by local and international airlines that include Thai Airways International, and Bangkok Airways, which is also the airport's operator.

It has two terminals, one of each is used for domestic or international arrivals and departures only. The airport serves more than a million passengers annually. It is near the harbor that receives an additional streams tourists that are ferried back and forth the other Thai islands.

What is peculiar about this airport is that the only region that has an interior is its gift shop. The two terminals are at about 50 kilometres from each other. The arrivals area is where car rental and public transport bookings are done, but it is highly recommended that cheap car hire at Samui Island Airport be your choice.
