Car hire La Coruna Airport

The La Coruna Airport, also known as Alvedro Airport sits 8 kilometers east of La Coruna city and aptly located for easy access to major roads and motorways. These roads lead to the outskirts of Galicia and the Rias Altas or Rias Gallegas. Transport modes are buses and shuttles which come and go every half an hour, cabs, and budget car rentals.

The airport has a passenger capacity averaging 1.2 million per year. It has one terminal consisting of two levels namely, Level P0 for Arrivals and Level P1 for Departures. The Departures area can be accessed through the ground level gates 1 and 2 or the first level gates 3 and 4. Gates 1 and 2 has access to the apron and gates 3 and 4 are equipped with airbridges. Ten check-in desks and a self-service check-in machine are also provided in the Departures area. The Arrivals section on the other hand can be accessed through the ground floor and the airbridge (coming from the aircraft).

Passenger services include 2 shopping facilities, 3 restaurant joints, 3 cash points, luggage counters, information desks and car rental facilities. Passengers with reduced mobility are accommodated accordingly.

Other services include a Lost property facility, National Police services and First aid for safety precautions. Cheap car rental agencies at the La Coruna can be found at the Arrivals lobby for your car hire needs. Four agencies are at hand, namely, Hertz, National Atesa, Europcar and Avis.
