Originally only intended as a domestic airport, Jerez Airport Spain (XRY), now serves both international and domestic flights between Spain and the rest of Europe. Visitors arrive from the UK, Germany and other countries to explore the province of Cadiz, and Jerez as its biggest city is an important gateway to the entire Andalusia region. The easiest method of exploration is by using cheap car hire in Jerez Airport Spain (XRY), which gives travellers easy access to the city and the province too.

The airport terminal is a double-storey building with Departures on level one and Arrivals on the lower storey. There is also an ATM on the ground level as well as an information counter and three tour operators who can help plan further travel. The small airport has only a restaurant or café for dining options but visitors have a choice of duty-free or standard shops for their perfume, spirits and souvenir purchases.

The terminal has very limited provisions for business travellers; only a multi-purpose room for conferences.
